Superlatte

The word says it all. It’s SUPER!

Lately I’ve been experimenting with different kinds of coffees, beverages, sports drinks and flavoured water. I live a very health conscious and well-balanced lifestyle and I like to fill my body with what’s best and what it needs.

Now come on, truth be told, we all love starting our day with a foamy cuppachino, an espresso, a coffee or a café latte ;) Honestly, I start mine with boiled water and a few slices of lemon, religiously. But after, I like a strong cup’a Joe! How about starting your day with a delicious latte mix with superfood benefits? I say YES please and you can thank me later.

With a variety of flavours such as:

Golden Milk Turmeric latte,

with a blend of organic numeric, antioxidant spices, black pepper and Himalayan salt.

Red Velvet Beetroot latte,

blended with ground beetroot, fair trade organic coca and ginger.

“Matcha Maker’ Matcha latte,

A potent antioxidant elixir made with organic Matcha. Interesting fact: Matcha powdered green tea offers 137 times more antioxidants than regular brewed green tea. Another cool fact: One serving of matcha tea is the nutritional equivalent of 10 cups of regularly brewed green tea.

Superlatte is crafted in South Africa’s health food capital, Cape Town, and it’s been said, it is ‘an outrageously healthy hot beverage alternative that’s loaded with flavour and street cred.’ Naturally, with a reputation like that, I felt the need to tickle my taste buds and try it for myself.

Benefits:

Superlatte is blended with premium ingredients, many of which are organic,

it’s preservative free,

dairy free,

gluten free AND vegan.

They sweeten with organic raw, unrefined coconut blossom sugar

Mixes are free from oxylitol and other artificial sweeteners

My favourite:

- Red Velvet Beetroot latte!

Ingredients:

Red Velvet

Coconut oil

Steamed milk

And I love to prepare mine exactly how they instructed me to. As an Iced Latte for Summer! Didn’t  that one coming hey?

Adjust amount of mix to suit size of cup, I normally use a 250ml cup- and combine 1/3 milk, 1/3 ice and 1/3 healthy ice cream with 1.5 x amount of suggested mix per flavour. At the end, add a teaspoon of raw honey!

You can use Superlatte mixes as Iced lattés, smoothies (also one of my favourites), with smoothie bowls and while baking and with raw desserts.

Available in a 200g resealable foil pouch as well as a 750 hospitality tub – You can find Superlatte at the OZCF Market, selected cafés and online!
