Sports luxe. Russell Athletic.

I have always been seen or portrayed to the public as the high heels, big bags and dresses kind of girl. As I am getting older and my schedule gets crazier, I thought It’s time to play and get an edgier side to my wardrobe, and still look fabulous, but in a sporty and comfortable way – Oh Hi there Russell Athletic!

I have always seen these social media posts, especially on Instagram, where girls look so cool, comfortable with adidas originals or Stan Martins, baggy pants or hoodies and yet they look so fabulous, yet relaxed and cool- I thought about trying the look for quite some time, but I have always been on the hesitant side… My biggest fear: Looking like an awkward, skinny and very tall giraffe. Haha, I am 1.82m tall after all.

I was so used to having a certain look, and change always scared me. But if there was ever the right time, it was NOW. Russell Athletic gear made me look like I WANT to look. It’s winter, I needed warm, cosy and funky winter gear, comfortable enough to run around in - The best part is you can dress the look up or down. You can pair baggy tracksuit pants with a high heel and take it from street style to nightlife in a second.

I started wearing some of my favourite pieces from the range this winter, and it was so easy to wear them to training, dinners or lunches or even big meetings. It is too pretty to sweat in I say, but going to the gym never felt so fabulous.

Comfort is key. Yet finding comfortable items that still looks good, is hard to find. This was the perfect fit, and the perfect find! If you think these items are cool, the new summer range just came out and I am dying to get into them!

Below see some of my favourite pieces & see 2 street style looks I tried:
